Garbage is picked up on Friday.
Please have it out to the road by 6:00am. The 96 gallon trash cart that was given to each property by the Village is to be kept with the property. If you move, you must leave the cart behind. Each cart is equipped with an RFDI chip and marked with the corresponding number, which is documented at the Village Office. You must use the provided trash cart and all the trash placed to the curb must fit in the cart. The only time loose items that can be collected is during large item pick up week once monthly. You may have 3 large items during large item pick up week. 
The Village participates in the "Every Other Week" Recycling Program.
Also Referred to as the EOW recycling. The 64 gallon recycling cart that was given to each property by the Village is to be kept with the property. If you move, you must leave the cart behind. Each cart is equipped with an RFDI chip and marked with the corresponding number, which is documented at the Village Office. The carts are navy blue with a green lid and stamped with the Village seal on each side. Since the roll out of the EOW recycling, the Village has increased its recycling tonnage by 30%, in the first year alone. This is a large increase, which we are proud of, that reduces the amount of waste put in the landfill. Keep up the GREAT work Village Residents!!! |
